Skip joined the Airplane just as it was taking off, adding some drumming magic to the debut album. He’s been described as “one of psychedelia's brightest lights” and was a co-founder of the San Francisco rock group, Moby Grape, where he showcased his powerful vocals and guitar playing skills. His song “Omaha”, has been listed as one of the 100 greatest guitar songs of all time by ROLLING STONE magazine. We miss you, Skip.

Jack transfixed audiences with his incredible musicianship and wailing bass guitar. He joined the Airplane after he arrived in San Francisco in ‘65 and the band was never the same since. He mixed his blues background with psychedelic rock and produced a beautiful balanced sound - a true pioneer.
